In 2022, Todd Brickson, program director of Rowmark Ski Academy, located at Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City, celebrates 20 years with the world-class ski racing program.
In November 2022, Rowland Hall senior, and standout youth golfer, Arden Louchheim, signed her National Letter of Intent, committing to play for the University of Nebraska women's golf team beginning in fall 2023. A longtime dual sport athlete in golf and ski racing, Arden chose to focus fully on golf after her sophomore year of high school in the hope of becoming a collegiate golfer. Rowland Hall senior, Rowmark ski racer, and US Ski Team athlete Mary Bocock has committed to ski for Darmouth College, beginning in fall 2023. Mary shares more about her decision and her ski racing journey.
Junior ski racer Elisabeth Bocock has long dreamed about joining the US Ski Team, and this week, her dream came true: US Ski Team announced 42 nominees for the 2022–2023 competition season, and Elisabeth is one of three newly nominated members of the women’s Development Team.
Rowland Hall senior Briggs Ballard recently committed to play lacrosse at Texas Christian University (TCU). Upper School Athletics
Rowland Hall’s Upper School is classified as a Division 2A school in Region 17 of the Utah High School Activities Association.
Middle School Athletics
Middle School athletes compete in the Wasatch Athletic Conference and can be three-season athletes.
