Jake began his running career at The McGillis School, where he ran his seventh- and eighth-grade years. He continued his love for running at West High School, earning three school records during his four years. After high school, Jake moved to New York, where he ran for Hamilton College’s cross country and track and field teams. Since graduation, he has moved back to Salt Lake City and has started to explore the coaching world. He has coached Rowland Hall’s track and field and cross country teams since 2021.
