Biography:

After tutoring at Rowland Hall for several years, Laura joined the Upper School faculty in 2010. Laura received her BA from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, and her MA and PhD from Indiana University in Bloomington. She earned a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages certificate from the University of Utah. Before relocating to Salt Lake City, Laura taught writing and composition at Indiana University, wrote a dissertation chapter in Ecuador, and biked across Canada. In her free time, she plays outside and takes apart old Hondas.
