Bobby Kennedy, Winged Lions girls soccer coach this past fall, was recently named the Utah State Girls Soccer Coach of the Year, as well as the 2023 Regional Coach of the Year for high school private/parochial schools in the Western Region (includes AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY) by the United Soccer Coaches Association, an award he has earned several times in his Rowland Hall coaching career.
BK led our team to a State 2A title this past fall, the fifth state championship he has orchestrated with our girls team during his Rowland Hall coaching career. His knowledge of the sport, energy, and passion for the game inspires our athletes to not only aim high, but to do the work to achieve their goals.
Coach Kennedy is stepping away from coaching in the Upper School but will continue to lead our Middle School girls program. Congratulations, Bobby, on this well-deserved recognition and for 18 years of stellar dedication and mentorship in our high school soccer program. You have set the bar high and will be missed.
