This season consisted of growth and maturity for the Rowland Hall boys basketball program. The varsity team was largely made up of eight seniors (Raphael Andreae, Noah Bikhazi, Will Chin, Luc Dowdle, Angus Hickman, Ian Mellor, Owen Taylor, and Ivan Wang). I appreciate all of the hard work and planning by our administration, faculty, staff, parents, and student-athletes that went unseen. I am truly thankful for the 26 student-athletes that committed to working hard this season.

The Rowland Hall program was led by captains Landen Brady and Luc Dowdle. We finished the season with a 14-9 record, taking second in Region 17 with a 7-3 record, and lost to a tough North Sevier team in the second round of the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) state tournament.

Rowland Hall had three players represented on the All-Region Team: senior Luc Dowdle, senior Ian Mellor, and junior Landen Brady. Luc Dowdle also was named to the Deseret News 2024–2025 All-State Second Team, and Landen Brady was named to the Deseret News 2024–2025 All-State Honorable Mention Team. Additionally, Luc Dowdle was nominated to three senior all-star games.

The season was filled with highlights, whether it was the consistency of the double-double machine Landen Brady, or Luc Dowdle joining the elite company of the 1,000 points scored club. The team also excelled in the classroom, with three players—senior Noah Bikhazi, senior Owen Taylor, and senior Ivan Wang—earning Academic All-State and Academic All-Region. 

The future is bright with many younger players earning varsity minutes throughout the season (junior Landen Brady and sophomores Ronin Aguilar, Jimmy Cashiola, Nick Potter, Charlie Von Maack, and Ollie Wakefield). The coaching staff was proud to see the improvement made throughout the season and appreciates all of the dedication and hard work from our student-athletes!
