Boys Golf, Fall 2025

Head Coach Brady Hansgen
Assistant Coach John Spikes

This season was another fantastic chapter for the Rowland Hall boys golf team, led by senior captains Jack Salinas and Madsen Varner, along with junior captain Henry Damico. Each week was a close contest, and we put together an impressive run of victories, including winning back-to-back weeks at our own Rose Park event and then at the always challenging Spanish Oaks. At Spanish Oaks, Jack Salinas posted the low round of the tournament by a wide margin with an even-par performance.

In the end, the race for the region title was incredibly close each week, coming down to a winner-takes-all region tournament held at River Oaks, with the team just a few shots back, taking second place. After two long, tough days at the state tournament at Palisades, the boys fought hard, placing fourth as a team, one stroke behind third. Junior captain Henry Damico stayed steady to earn an impressive third-place individual finish, just one stroke behind second place and a few back of the first-place individual title.

Overall, it was a great season full of close competition, consistency, and memorable highlights, increasing our team depth, gaining more tournament experience, and setting the way for a team next season led by one of the bigger senior classes our program has had.
