Each sports season, the Region 17 Board of Managers recognizes with Academic All-Region honors those seniors who meet the award criteria. The Utah High School Activities Association also recognizes excellence in the classroom with the designation of Academic All-State status, awarded to senior student-athletes who meet their standards (usually only 10 in each classification and each sport).

Four Rowland Hall fall sports athletes were recognized with both Academic All-Region and Academic All-State honors this year: Aanika Boe and Jane Borst (girls tennis); Sophia Hijjawi (girls soccer); and Greta Filippone (volleyball).

Congratulations to these Winged Lions on achieving excellence not only in the competitive athletics arena, but also in the classroom.
