Postseason Recognition for Winged Lion Spring Sports Athletes 2023
Seven athletes in our spring sports programs were named to their respective Region 17 All-Region teams for the 2022–2023 season. Congratulations to boys soccer players Kelton Ferriter, Charlie Frech, Anthony Sanchez, and Jack Vitek, and to softball team athletes Deja Shirkey, Emma Hare, and Jane Borst on being recognized for their outstanding play by the coaches in the region!
The Deseret News collects votes from 2A coaches from across the state and honors the top picks with All-State recognition in these two sports; however, neither the boys soccer nor softball All-State teams had been released at this writing.
Congrats to these athletes for All-Region recognition!
