Postseason Recognition for Winged Lion Winter Sports Athletes
Five athletes in our basketball program were named to their respective Region 17 All-Region teams for the 2022–2023 season. Congratulations to boys basketball players Kai Dowdle, Jack Ross, and Luc Dowdle, and girls basketball players Heidi Paisley and Zakrie Smith on being recognized for their outstanding play by the coaches in the region.
The Deseret News collects votes from 2A coaches from across the state and honors the top picks with All-State recognition. Kudos to Kai Dowdle, who was named Third Team All-State for boys basketball. Congratulations also to Heidi Paisley and Zakrie Smith, who were selected to the Honorable Mention girls basketball 2A All-State team.
Seniors Kai Dowdle and Heidi Paisley were chosen to participate in their respective Senior 2A All-Star games, a prestigious honor for both.
