Each sports season, the Region 17 Board of Managers recognizes with Academic All-Region honors those seniors who meet the award criteria. The Utah High School Activities Association also recognizes excellence in the classroom with the designation of Academic All-State status, awarded to senior student-athletes who meet their standards (usually only 10 in each classification and each sport).

Six Rowland Hall spring sport athletes were recognized with both Academic All-Region and Academic All-State honors this year: Andrew Murphy and Jack Revoy (boys tennis), Frances Hodson (girls golf), Rebecca Miles (softball), Owen Taylor (boys soccer), and Carolina Corcoran (track and field).

Congratulations to these Winged Lions on achieving excellence not only in the competitive athletics arena, but also in the classroom.
