Each sports season, the Region 17 Board of Managers awards Academic All-Region honors to those seniors who meet the award criteria. The Utah High School Activities Association also recognizes excellence in the classroom with the designation of Academic All-State status, also awarded to senior student-athletes who meet their standards (usually only 10 in each classification and each sport).

Six Rowland Hall winter sports athletes were recognized with both Academic All-Region and Academic All-State honors this year: Ainsley Moore (swimming); Frances Hodson and Kavitha Kasturi (girls basketball); and Noah Bikhazi, Owen Taylor, and Ivan Wang (boys basketball).

Congratulations to these Winged Lions on achieving excellence not only in the competitive athletics arena, but also in the classroom.
